Beginner Gardening FAQ's

In my experience, some great beginner plants are tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, and herbs.

The answer varies depending on a few factors. When did it rain last? When is it going to rain again? What type of plants are you watering? Check your weather conditions and you can answer these questions and water accordingly. Don't just water plants every single day. Some plants don't need it every day, like herbs, check before you water them. I do the finger test, I poke my finger down into the dirt up to the first knuckle, if its damp, leave it alone, if it's dry give it a drink. Too much water leads to root rot.

It all depends on what plants you are growing. If you check the back of the seed package, sometimes they have the information.

There's just not an easy answer to this, it all depends on some factors: Where are you located? What type of plants are they? Do they need partial sun or full exposure? Do some research on your plant care for your plants and garden zone.
